I have a bluetooth USB Adapter, which installed and worked perfectly fine on my other computer.

Now I've come to install it on my new computer, it will not recognise that there is a bluetooth device in the USB port. The bluetooth device does not automatically switch on and have the little green light like it used to either.

What's wrong? Help please!

1st of all you should try different ports to see if it is just that 1 port, if the computer is built my you or a little shop then you should make sure they are frimly connected in the socket. If not then i think you should take the pc back or the motherboard or the usb pci. You should also make sure that the adapter still works my connecting it to another pc. The adapter might not work becuase you need the software installed 1st, you have said you have done this so you should look for updates of the software
