Question Asking About Recovery

Hey, Im thinkin of using the recovery that come with my pc ..
But im just worried that i need some things else ..
If i recovery .. do i need cd or something ?
Or i just can press F10 without using cd ?

You don't need to use a CD. It just restores files off of the recovery partition that's already on the hard drive. Just MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP OF ALL YOUR IMPORTANT DATA. I know you can do this during the recovery process on HP's, but it's best to backup stuff yourself, manually, just in case it happens to miss something by chance. The recovery option creates a clean install, remember.

I've back up all my important file and stuff to another external hdd ..
so it means im ready to recovery ?

1 more last question .. how long is the process goin to take ?

As long as you have your important data backed up, you should be ready to go.

Well, I'm not really sure on that. Can't remember how long it took for me to do a clean install from recovery partition on a client's Vista machine I had to work on once. I'd say...at least an hour, possibly.
