Akumajin Junior Techie Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 84	Any time I use sound, my computer lags. I made a thread a bit ago thinking my HD failed since I got that message (topic here: "Harddrive Master Failure" followed by slow PC...) Anyway I started playing a few other games and the sound was messed up, so I turned it off. Suddenly, the FPS lag and frame skips I had went away, so it's pretty much surely a sound card/motherboard problem. My sound card is an integrated one, Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA. So if I upgrade the sound card drivers, do you think that would fix it? Or with my AGP mobo is it worth it to buy a decent one?
