200g hardrive reads at 130g

i have bought annew 200g hardrive and it only reads at 130g could someone help me with this problem

what os are you running?

it will be the 127gig barrier. i think you have to reformat, but i need others to clarify this.

It's either your mobo which needs to have a 48-bit LBA-compatible BIOS installed.

Or it's Windows. What OS do you have?

Use the search. Install service pack1A and install your latest motherboard drivers to run your drive at ATA133 (or SATA)
