Default X1600XT vs. X800

I'm looking at getting a new comp. ready to play Morrowind IV, and am just curious about which is better between these two cards, the X1600XT and the plain vanilla X800.
Please just these two cards, dont bring up how much better the 6800GS is, etc., I am just curious about the differences of these two.

X1600XT by a long shot. The X800 series plain sucks, the X1000 series is actually more in line with what Nvidia is offering.

The X1600XT is cheaper than the 6800GS, but also a bit slower. I'd suggest the 6800GS, but if you like ATI and slightly improved image quality go with that.

It's only logical though, the 6800GS is definitely the better buy and value outta the options.

But if you want to know, the X1600XT is the better out of the two.
