hey fellas.
i have been a good boy and decided to treat myself to something new.
now, i can get some gskill HZs (dude they are 120 dollars on newegg...rock).
or, i can get another evga 7900gs (for about 80 bucks) and drop it in with my other for sli.
hmmmm decision decisions...any opinions?

if i had to choose i think i would go with the video card

I don't know... To be honest, I would try to save up for a DX10 card.

Yah I would shoot for somethng like an 8600gt as far as video cards go but for 80 bucks a 7900gs would be pretty sweet.

u could sell ur gcard and with that money plus what u got now u could be a 8800gts.

eh...i dunno. i'm not really too stoked (at the moment) with having dx10. i'm gonna hold off on vista for as long as possible, and i dont play toooooo many games...
i think that maybe having sli'd 7900gs will give me a pretty significant performance boost (we're talking strictly eye candy here).
the HZ's will help my overclocking attempts, tho i have my xms2 smokin right along...

y dont u get the new ram then and then wait on the gcard till some dx10 games come out and see waht u can pick up.

I have the sli'd gs's and yes it is a significant performance boost, I think I gained 3000+ in my 3Dmark06 score.
