Default Who can build the best?

Who can build the best rig for 1200$ contest.

With these three items involved.

You have a total of 400-500$ more to spend on the rest of the parts.

The prize won't be much and isn't announced, but I will send you money.

Thanks guys.

Good luck all.

Default Re: Who can build the best?

Easy... (consider dropping to an e7200 though, overclocks around the same and significantly cheaper, actually with this you could get a Q6600)
Corsair TX 650W ATX12V Power Supply - CMPSU-650TX - Buy.com
Newegg.com - XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks
Newegg.com - Patriot Viper 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Elite 330 RC-330-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Computer Cases
Newegg.com - DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Motherboards
Newegg.com - Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD6400AAKS 640GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - Internal Hard Drives

About $480..you could also make a jump for a q6600 too, keep taht in mind

Because its better than a 9800gtx and its $200...

Don't thread-jack please...

EDIT: btw about that Buy.com, on Newegg its price is $150 which is why I recommended Buy.Com, also noteworthy is if you use Google Checkout for your first-time purchase you get $10 off the first item.. so thats noteworthy

Default Re: Who can build the best?

Any of these builds would work with Overclocking, all have good HSF's and good Overclocking Boards
