Default A warning for those looking at the Samsung 204B monitor...

Just a note to all, be weary of this monitor! I bought one early last year, and liked it so much, I bought a second. Months later, the first (ten days from being one year old developed a line of dead pixels (just yesterday).

I look at Newegg reviews pretty well, but never saw that problem. Click here to see what I mean.. Apparently it's well-known these days... but the monitor still has high rankings. I guess that's because of their english-speaking, friendly customer service.

On the bright side though, it has a three year warranty (parts/labor), and they cross-ship with a credit card, or free if you swap the monitors at your local UPS store. And they pay for shipping, both ways. So it's just a time hassle, and a 'ticking bomb' I suppose, for the three years the warranty is good for.

It's a nice monitor otherwise...but yeah, since many of you are buying bigger/better ones, you're now forewarned about this!
