I would strongly suggest you buy a new cheap mobo ($50) that will support PCI-Express and spend $100 on a GPU. Because thats way too expensive for the 3850 (because its AGP, and they make money off people who are stuck with AGP)
so, buy a mobo based on the CPU you have
and buy a 9600gt or equivalent

| Re: Video card upgrade. If you plan on just upgrading your current system then the 3850 is a good bet. If you want to build a whole new computer then you should get new parts. Also make sure your psu is up to running that 3850 before you install it. If it isn't then you will have some serious system stability issues. |

Yeah, it would be a lot cheaper to just go with the 3850
