| Ultra Techie | What are "Artifacts" I always hear people talking about this if there card gets really hot... Not a clue what they are... Also call me a n00b, but also what is Anti-Aliasing... Like in some games, my game can run it maxed. Then if I turn that up it like sux... Or I'm doing it wrong or something, also V-Sync,,, what is that?!?!? LoL.. I game all the time and don't even know what these are... Some answers would be awesome. Oh and if this is the wrong spot for this thread I'm sorry. Don't know where to post. lol, SORRY IN ADVANCE

| Post it under "other hardware topics" or something. Artifacts are little random patches of weirdness on your screen that result from something wrong with the vid card, such as overheating. Anti-aliasing basically smoothes all of the edges in the game, and it takes a good card to have high anti-aliasing on, which you probably wont be able to do with the 6600. |
