I am trying to determine what upgrade would be the best bang for my buck. I built my gaming pc about 4 years ago. I am looking to upgrade my CPU, GPU, and Ram. I am just not sure what would be best to upgrade first.

Current Specs:
AMD 3800+ (I think its 2.4 GHz dual core)
EVGA 7900GT (256 mb)
OCZ 2GB (4 X 512)
MSI K9N Neo-F AM2 NVIDIA nForce 550 MCP ATX AMD Motherboard

Desired Upgrades:

I'd upgrade the graphics first. That way you'll have the most expensive out of the way, and you'll have the cheaper bottleneck to upgrade next, so less time to save money.

I'd get that right now. It is slower than the HD 4890, but that's with premature drivers. I expect better performance out of that card with good drivers, in addition it's got DX 11 support!

instead of the phenom i would go with a i7... but thats just my thought.

yes, go with the 5770. and i dont think that your mobo is compatible with the phenom II's.
