Default Upgrade or Rebuild for DX10?

I was wanting to start saving up for a way to be able to play on vista and run new DX10 games like Crysis and any coming out in the near future my current specs are below, and I was wondering if I should just upgrade my video card and maybe add RAM. or save for a year and rebuild Any advice?

socket 939 AMD X2 4200+
1Gig Patriot memory DDR PC3200
Aspire 500W psu
eVGA 7800GT (good overclocker, but can't run DX10)

I think you should sell that rig, and get a new one.

If I was the buyer, I would pay no more than $150-250. You could probably get $300 from ebay.

Keep it as a backup. What would be your budget, for your next build?
