| Ok, so i'm building a new gaming PC, and probably won't be buying the parts till the end of February or early March. I need your input on this stuff. If you have suggestions please post them! Case - Don't know yet, anyone know of a good case for under $150? Processor - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Motherboard - ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard Newegg.com - ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail Video Card - 8800 GTS 512 Sound Card - not sure, I want surround sound though! Speakers - Looking for good surround sound speakers Memory - OCZ Reaper HPC 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Monitor - Need some input, was thinking of this one. Newegg.com - BenQ FP241VW Silver-Black 24" 6ms GTG DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor with Tilt Adjustment and 1:1 Pixel Mapping 500 cd/m2 1000:1 - Retail Power Supply - CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply 100 Coolers - Tuniq Tower 120 Hard Drive - Not sure... | switch 8800 GTX to 8800 GTS 512 Its cheaper and just as good due to the g92 chip in it. The GTX is too expensive for the performance.

| Onboard Sound is adequte, go with a 8800gts g92 over the GTX, get the OCZ Reaper 4gb Kit over that kit you have, PSU: Corsair 520hx, Cooler: Tuniq Tower 120

| slightly less contrast ratio, you won't see a difference really, unless your testing how bright your monitors can go, i would suggest sun glasses when your doing that ![]()

| insert something witty | **** 6 bills for a 24 is insane. I'm sure the picture quality is nice but thats alittle too much. I've seen the Hanns G in person and it is really nice.

| Yeah for sure the 28 hans g, as darksideleader said, you are not really going to notice the difference.
