Default Thinking of a new rig $1400 budget

Hi im thinking of selling my current rig and building a new rig so anyone wanna help me out here? The budget is 1400 USD w.o monitor/keyboard and mouse im a hardcore gamer so i want it to be able to run any game with no problems oh yea and it has to be 1400 with shiping to cant go past 1400 looking for bigest bang for my buck dont mind if its amd or intel.

........... didn't you just buy this rig??? ok sell of the Board and CPU and get a g0 q6600 and a Gigabyte p35-ds3l and throw in a good Video Card such an 8800gts 320mb or something

Why on earth would you sell the rig that you have in your sig? Just upgrade your vide card to an 8800ultra if you're that hardcore.

Sell HDD, RAM, PSU, GPU, and motherboard. Then get the following:

Western Digital 750GB
2GB of either Crucial Ballistix or Patriot Extreme Performances
PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610w
EVGA 8800Ultra
ASUS P5K Deluxe, Abit IP35 Pro, or Gigabyte P35-DS3R

Wait...., I thought the striker extreme was a way better board. Just extremely expensive. Am I thinking of a different model?

The Strike Extreme is not a way better board. There are cheaper alternatives, that can perform just as well. It's just extremely expensive.
