im thinking of getting this to replace my current pc monitor and also be used as a tv

for the price is it worth it or is there something better for around the same price?

televisions have much lower resolutions just get a large monitor better overall and generally cheaper then a hdtv although that is a fairly good price.

Ok i can help u out here... I own an LCD PC/Tv....

I suggest u not get 1... they are good at both... but PC only usually runs 1280x768... what that means is that is a widescreen resolution, and if u play a game that dont support WS u will have to play at 1024x768.... wich suxx big time...

I own a Viewsonic n2025w or something like that... lcd/'tv.. its cool for a media center like hookin up an Xbox,pc,dvd,PS3,bla,bla.... its got all kinds of hookups... but having to play at 1024x768 Res if no WS is Supported Blows chunks...
