| All rite guys, need your opinions on this one. Been thinking of building my comp for a while and decided to finally do it. Did a lot of research online and this is what I have so far. Coolermaster Wavemaster (Silver) $123.00 PC Power and Cooling 510 Watt SLI Power Supply $219.99 AMD Athlon X2 4400+ Dual Core Processor $497.00 Thermaltake XP-120 Heatsink $68.99 OCZ 2BG DDR400 Platinum System Memory $227.59 Western Digital Caviar SE16 250BG SATA Hard Drive $125.00 DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI-DR Motherboard $180.00 BFG GeForce 7800GTX OC Video Card $479.99Creative Labs X-Fi Xtrememusic Sound Card $126.00 NEC Black IDE DVD Burner $39.94 Microsoft Windows XP Pro with SP2 $141.95 Logitech G7 Mouse $54.98 Microsoft Natural 4000 Keyboard $49.99 Samsung 204T LCD Monitor $549.99 Klipsch Promedia 2.1 Speakers $134.99 My budget is basically $3000 and this thing is almost 3000 flat. Im gonna use this comp for gaming and general everyday use. Throw me any suggestions or parts that aren't that good. I am gonna OC but only a moderate amount (like maybe 2.6Ghz on the 4400). Im gonna add another GTX down the line, but no point to that rite now. Finally, the only thing I am really unsure of is the monitor. I really want to stick with an LCD. Not sure though if any 1600*1200 ones are good for gaming. |
