Yeh you may as well stick with XP until Vista SP1 comes out next year.
Really the only reason you would need 64bit is if you want to use more than 3GB of RAM. 32 bit will not recognise more than 3.2Gbs and becomes unstable apparently.
u need 64-bit, because u said u did video editing which requires 4gb ram and 32bit doesn't recognize it

A while back it was recommended I get the X2 3600+ and EVGA 590 as a cheap CPU/mobo combo to overclock...does that still stick or is the BE-2300/2350 a better alternative? What mobo for the 2300/2350 if I was to go that route?
