Question suggestions for my new Gameing PC

I know this is my first post, so sorry if you didn't like it.

I am planning to build a new PC in the next 2 weeks and I’ve decided to choose the following:
• EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 nVidia NForce 680i Chipset SLI
• Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3Ghz (1333FSB, 4mb Cache)
• 2X EVGA nVidia Geforce 8600GTS Superclocked 512mb PCI Express
•Corsair 2GB (2x 1GB) DDR2 800 XMS (PC6400 - TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX) RAM Module Kit
• WD 500GB HD SATA2
I will use this PC for Gaming and I am new to OC I don't know how to use it nor building a cooling system. but if it was easy and not expensive, I will do it.

I need your suggestions and ideas about these parts if they need to be replaced e.g. 1X EVGA 8800GTS 640mb PCI Express instead of the 2X EVGA 8600GTS Superclocked 512mb

please guys I need your help

the 680i chipset is not the best...and definitely terrible for the money it costs.
Try this:

Newegg.com - GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3R LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail

Newegg.com - Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

You want to avoid SLI if possible, and SLI with 8600 cards is just a bad idea as they are limited by the 128bit memory interface....get a 8800GT when it comes out next week.

Newegg.com - Tuniq Tower 120 P4 & K8 CPU Cooler - Retail

Newegg.com - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (Perpendicular Recording) ST3500630AS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Retail

You could consider a PCP&C power supply.
