Default Stupid NVidia, 8800GT 512

They just pushed my order back to the first week of January.

If it ever comes in I am paying $250 for it, does anyone know where I can get the 8800GT for around $250 that is actually in stock?

Why does this happen when they have new cards come out? How frustrating.

Is there much difference between the XFX and a Galaxy card?

I have the galaxy one. It works great...overlcocks well too...i would personally get that one.

The xfx version has a bigger fan than standard specs, so it should run cooler and quieter.

The Galaxy has a different sort of heatsink that actually looks quite cool, and they got a blue pcb which I like, here's a pic:
