Exclamation Stumbling Block

Ok, i just upgraded my system from

X2 3800+ ------------------> X2 6400+
2 Gigs Corsair XMS ---------> 2 gigs OCZ
A8n5x ---------------------> M2N32-SLI Deluxe
450W PS ------------------> Cool Masters 600W PSU

and heres the kicker, my old system with the same graphics card and sound card (8800GT, X-Fi Gamer) got a score of around 7500 on 3dmark 06 (i had all the high settings turned on my Graphics card <supersampling, etc.>), now with my new system I do the same thing and i get a score of 6100!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!?!?!?!?! Im almost positive this has to do with the fact that I didn't clean install windows after building new pc, but instead repaired it. Anyone have any ideas what hap?

* I honestly cant remember what my nvidia control panel settings were when i did the first test (7500) im sure they were as high as the second but not positive about that.

**Also, I checked out futuremarks page and some dude with the exact same setup as me has 12000.....what am i doing wrong? WHY DOES MY COMPUTER FAIL?

Did you get totally rid of your old mobo chipset drivers and install new ones? Are any of the parts overclocked?
