| Re: stock case psu None of the above are good. Don't skimp on the PSU unless your friend wants to chance being out of an entire system. None will last very long.

Case: don't know what case it is but it is very crappy
Optical Drive: Lite-on 16X DVD+&- RW DL (died) using a CD-ROM drive until I get a new blu ray burner or whatever i can get http://web26.hopto.org:443/

| Re: stock case psu Agreed with the others on the power supply. Unless he wants to risk having his whole system go down, because of a faulty power supply.
And if he's on a tight budget, he should go for the 7900GS and overclock it to 7900GT speeds. |

This is a very reliable and solid PSU. I have this exact model, and it's been running for 2 years straight. Should run that system, no problem. |
