so i recently purchased an evga 7900gs ko, which retails at $269 according to evga, and i just realized that an 8800gts 320mb is only $30 more, at $299 retail lol. so i think im going to be cashing in on my step-up program. however the 8800gts 640 retails for $419 :/. im looking at getting a 22" soon, and i don't really think i have the $150 to pick up a 640 edition, but would i notice a BIG difference in performance? i mean its $30 vs. $150..

The price of your current card is the price that you actually paid, not the MSRP. So you probably paid around $160? You have to pay $140 to step-up to the 320mb gts.

oh dang, i've never done the step-up program before. didn't realize that's how it worked. i figured it was too good to be true, lol, oh well.
