Unhappy Someone pls explain the X-X-X-X RAM Timing to me!!!

Hola Cyber-pimps!
As always, I seek the sage advice of the collective. After reviewing some responses to my other posts, I am revamping a parts list for a friend's computer and I would really like to know what the 4 digit RAM timing means... Also, what does CAS and Latency mean? Thanks for bearing with me and you guys (and girls) are the best! Thanks!

http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/show...&threadid=3393

Scroll down about 3/4 of the page down and you'll see a big "DRAM TIMINGS" that'll tell you more timings than you care to know about it...the common ones are one color and the advanced ones are another color so you don't get too confused.

http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11397

That will also be more information than you care to know and specifically applies to the Ultra-D board but gives you an all around scope of various memory timings
