you haven't a financial clue... cashiers checks are about as safe as it gets. The institution that wrote the check(say, amscot, or bank of america) wouldn't write it unless they were paid in full.

if the cashiers check is legit.. however im not an expert at telling wether a check is authentic or not.

all i have to say is you better wait for those cashier checks to clear (could take 2 weeks or longer) and not for the funds to become available before you go sending your computer off to find out the check bounced.
