Default Quiet a Antec 300

Any tips to quiet a antec 300? I picked up this case to put my old machine in so I can get my case ready for a new build. I have the fans on low and while it does not bother me it drives my wife crazy. Any advice would be appreciated to maintain my marital bliss (oxymoron).

Only really two things i could think of possibly doing:

- Get some noise canceling foam and double-sided-tape it to the case along the inside everywhere,
- Buy some low dba fans and swap em out over the antec ones.

The foam will have a sticky side and can simply be stuck straight onto the panels. You could use a fan controller to turn those fans down but the best solution is probably just to remove any front fans.

As stated above... I used something like this in a build once, and it took it down to almost zero noise with all my fans on max speed. I bought 3 (I think) and then just started placing it just about anywhere I could find a hole...

thanks for the advice. I will try some of the foam and removing some fans while keeping an eye on the cpu and gpu temps.

get a good fan controller and some good low DB fans also get that noise dampening stuff then you will be silent.
