I'm gonna tri boot XP, Vista, and Ubuntu. What order should I install these or does it not matter?

I would install Windows first. The Linux boot menus are usually better (less trouble too).

Personally, I'd not install grub or any of the linux bootloaders and instead install Acronis OS Selector

A really great bootloader...even has a nice little GUI with mouse control
