hey nutcases...someone mind giving me a breakdown of the energy savings of a 45nm fab over a 65nm fab? if the info is out there...or if a math wiz can figure it out



I don't really care about performance, and just now thought of this...11pm for me....I'm about to turn in...and maybe in the market to build an all 64bit media machine. editing hd home movies and such

Hehe

If the Q9300 averaged 20 or more Percent advantage over the Q6600 I would tell people to buy it as it costs about 20% more.

Edit: I haven't seen anything about energy consumption, comparing the q9300 to the q6600...
