| q6600 for gaming and OC With the upcoming price cuts, I'm contemplating getting a q6600 over the e6600, however, I'll be doing some moderate-hardcore gaming and overclocking...
Basically, I've heard an e6600 is better than a q6600 for gaming and OCing, so should I take the price cut and save some money, or get the q6600?

| Re: q6600 for gaming and OC Well the e6600 is better for overclocking, and I think on par with the q6600 on gaming. Games are just now, hitting the multi-cores. I'm not sure on this decision. But I think I would go for the Q6600, because that is hard to pass up, at that price. The e6600 though, is still great, if you don't go for the q6600. |

But what I've read is that it could be sometime after the July 22 price cuts. I've also read about the Q6300/6400 being canceled though. The speeds of the Q6300/Q6400 are said to be 1.86GHz and 2.13GHz respectively.
