Default PSU Grenaded...Getting a new one...

As the title says, my psu exploded....not like pop fffffftttt then smoke, i mean BANG TING TING TING TING FFFFFFFFFSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTT POP POP POP `billowing smoke` spark spark...etc, the classic psu lasershow.

So, because of this, I am NOT getting another $20 psu...and $100 is tooo much, so I have been looking at this 450w TT, and im liking what I see for $65

LMAO. That 550w has the same amperage on its 12v rail as my 400w PSU. No wonder it blew up.

lol thats pretty funny. and the main reason my eyes locked to the TT was because of the amperage, price, looks, and most importantly: Modular Cabling. I love that stuff, makes wire management soo much easier.

Too lower amperage for that price...

This is the one I would have chose.

Newegg.com - Rosewill RP550V2-S-SL 550W SLI Ready-ATX12V V2.01 Power Supply 115/230 V CSA,UL,TUV,FCC - Retail

Actually I did choose it as I own it. Excellent stability and amperage for the money.
