Default Price point AMD vs Intel

Just wondering what you guys think the current standings for AMD vs Intel are at per price point. Basically at which price points does AMD beat Intel and vice versa.

Myself I figured it goes

Stock speeds for the ranges of
50-100 - AMD
100-150 - AMD
150-200 - Intel
200+ - Intel

With overclocking
50-100 - AMD
100-150 - About the same?
150-200 -Intel
200+ -Intel

So what do you guys think???

It's pretty much
AMD:lower end builds to some higher end ones
Intel: mid end build to higher ends.
But Intel seems all the rage now, just like AMD was not too far back.

AMD is made for their prices. They're cheap and reliable and work fairly well. Intel is for the performance, might be a bit costly, but your money is at it's best if you go for Intel. Although, I think I might of went off topic, I'm a bit confused from what you're trying to explain here.

anything over 200+ is definately won by intel. I didn't even know Intel had processors as cheap as 50?

Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

They still sell Celeron D and Pentium 4's. =D

What else do you need? A q6600 and 8800ultra for email and web surfing?

Who knows maybe old people play hardcore games also. At the moment, I'd say Intel has won the higher end market.
