hi everyone.
this is my psu:

i am thinking of getting the xfx 7950gx2 (when the prices drop even further, heh)...this psu should be adequate, correct? i believe the card requires 450w minimum....

ehhh, It "should"work.. However Coolmax isn't that great quality wise. You may be pushing it on the Amperage... So i reccomend buying something better.View the Buying Components Guide Section 4.

Go for a OCZ psu, there known for great quality, and you get loads of extra cables which are bendy and save on cable mess, plus you get a big 120mm fan to help cooling, it looks nice and has blue LED's, oh and its silent.
what more could you ask for?

I'm really diggin this power supply right now. It only has 3 reviews and its a bit expensive but its specs are killer and it has modular cabling. I've never used it myself or known anyone who has but I like thermaltake and I trust them as a brand. If you do end up picking it up (most likely not) I'd like to hear how it is.

eh, there are better out there, but i wouldnt recommend blowin a extra $100+ on one, u'll probably be ok
