| I am building a new computer and have all my parts picked out except for the power supply. My problem is that I dont know what is good to look for in this particular part of a computer. Are certain companies better than others? Is most of the performance based on the amount of watts the PS is? These are a few that I was looking at, they are all roughly the same price I just need help w/ finding out which one is best. Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CE, CB, TUV, FCC, CCC - Power Supplies Newegg.com - RAIDMAX QUANTUM RX-700 700W ATX12V V2.2 / EPS12V SLI Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, FCC, TUV, CE, C-tick, CCC, CB - Power Supplies Newegg.com - APEVIA WARLOCK POWER ATX-WA750W 750W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply 115/ 230 V CB, CE, TUV, cUL, FCC - Power Supplies Newegg.com - OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W ATX12V Power Supply 100 - 240 V - Power Supplies |

| Renowned Budgeting Master | The corsair is the best but list your system so we can best decide which will best suit your needs. You do understand that it is amperage on the rails is more important than the total wattage it's rated at right?

| lvl Infinite Psychopath | You can get away with alot less. There are many many choices, but, the Corsair 650TX will be fine.

Now its OCZ GameXStream vx the Corsair 650tx... the 650tx in terms of its rails (and wattage isn't as important as rails) If you want a good explanation of rails check out a 3dgameman review

| lvl Infinite Psychopath | The Apevia Warlock is actually good. Apevia Warlock 900W PSU Review - Overclockers Club Hi-Tech Reviews | Apevia Warlock 900-watt Power Supply | Power, Supply, Var, Apevia, Have Apevia Warlock Power 750 Watt Power Supply Reviews - OCIA.net But corsair and OCZ are more proven, so even though the Warlock is good, I would go with the corsair.
