What do you mean? when ur using the batt and it runs out of power...why would that kill it lol. And yes vern it does...i have seen it before.

im so confused.

my question is if power shortage since i have been experiencing it these days, will it damage the laptop or desktop if it turns off automatically when the power shortage occurs.
