    Default New System

As you can see by me sig the system is getting a little old. Getting ready to redo most of it. Here's what I'm thinking

    Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 AM3+ 89.99
    AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 3.6GHz 109.99
    G.Skill Ripjaw 8GB 2x4GB 39.99
    Corsair Force Series 3 90GB SSD 119.99

    https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/M...px?ID=18585732

Might just get the first three and get the ssd a little later. Rest will be used from my sig. GPU is not an issue as don't game anymore, will just be using for picture and video editing.

What's your total budget for the hardware?
I would recommend going with intel over AMD, the i5 pretty much beats all of AMDs curreny bolldozer offerings in both gaming and rendering.

AMD FX-4100 Quad Core 3.6GHz Bulldozer Processor Review - x264 HD Encoding - Legit Reviews

As you can see, the 2500k beats the FX-8150 in about 65% of the tests. The difference between an i5 and a 4100 would be much larger.

Using an Antec p180 and Antec 550 watt PS. Not sure on the model of the PS.
The rest of that sounds good. I'll just use my old raptors for alittle while longer and then get an SSD.

Ya, have a copy of Windows 7 and graphics just using either the onboard sandy bridge graphics, or have a 7800gtx, which ever would be better. Not going to be playing games, so that doesn't really matter.
