Default New Hardware (8900GTX/New Intel CPUs)

So...I know there's been alot of hype out recently about the new 8900gtx and such. I read on some website that they;d be going for around $550USD, but the 8800GTX is also around $550. Does anyone have any confirmation or insight into this? Are they just going to drop the price of the 8800 or what?

Also, I've heard some new chips from intel are coming out to significantly drop the prices of the quad cores...any info on that? Thanks fellas...

You can get 8800GTX for $529
Newegg.com - PNY VCG8800XXWB GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card - OEM

This is the cheapest one......

I don't know anything about 8900...

theres no official newsof there going to be an 8900 anytime soon the newest from nvidia is the 8800 Ultra which is like 800 bucks
and even if there was going to be an 8900gtx coming out soon, it definatly would not be 550 bucks at release, my geuss is it would be no less then 700 at release then drop maybe to 600 after a little while
