New build...need advice

Need to build a new main box for games and quite a bit of multitasking using Adobe products and Autocad. I have an E6700 now running at 3.4Ghz and it does fine but I am moving it over to another desk. Using Raptors in Raid 0 and one has failed thus I have to re-format. Seems the 7200 sata 3.0 drives are just as fast and reliable so I might as well go that route this time. One small one for the OS and one other large one for data is my initial guess. I would like the fastest quad core for the money right now and a non sli setup. So what mobo and cpu is working well together? And also the fastest video card out at the moment and of course RAM. I usually shoot for around 25% O/C so keep that in mind. No raid needed as I think it is a waste of time and hardware with these new drives these days. Now keeping your data safe is one thing but I am going for speed. I backup plenty. I play COD4 and do a lot of CAD and Video editing. Thanks for your help.
