Multiple Monitors in Sli.

If i can run 2 screens off one video card, if i add another one in sli (still both monitors are running off one single card), why wouldnt it work?

Just doesn't work with SLI. Scroll down a little... Someone just made a post today on this. I have 3 monitors that I have to disable SLI for.

no idea all i kno is thats one of the cons of sli, but not xfire.

I wasnt sure because i thought they meant one screen in one card and one in the other, i was just checking if 2 screens in one card works.... so, while im here, so i dont start another topic, i might as well ask if a Q6600 oc'd to 3ghz is gonna be a bottle neck for 2 9800GX2's...

I think its really stupid to not be able to run dual monitors in sli, kinda defeats the purpose a bit.

not really, its supposed to render parts of a single screen.. makes sense to me

Still, would be nice if there was an option that let a each card handle a single display, so you could run both displays at their native res.

what you have to do is buy a cheap PCI card, and run your other monitors of it and the 1 main monitor of your SLi Cards (SLi ftl)
