| Hello, First post here ![]() So, I'm building a PC geared to meet my gaming needs. I'd really like to be able to do this in a Micro ATX case. The process is going well so far, but I have questions as to just exactly what a microATX M-board will hold. Here is my motherboard (not ordered yet) and here is the Vcard I was hoping to get Hopefully this is a simple question..."Will it fit?" Thanks! |

| welcome to the tech forums yes the graphics card will fit in the board but it might not fit into the case thats if your going to put it into a micro atx case in my option i would go for a normal size case (midi - full) and go with either a x38, 750i or a P35 board instead of a 630i or even a 790fx board

| It'll fit in the board, but the case is more of the issue of it fitting or not.. (with most uATX boards the hard drive cage gets in the way) Also don't get that Video Card, 1gb on a 256bit interface is highly redundant and unnecessary in most cases the 1gb card will perform less than the 512mb counterpart.. If the whole point of the uATX Build is portability, you can get like an HTPC case (kind of pricey though ) and get high end stuff like SolidSteve said

| Thanks people. Here is the case I am thinking of I do realize that getting that card would be a little bit silly. So I'm thinking of a 8800GTS. Any suggestions? |

| OK...I've been doing some thinking, and now I'm starting to agree with...mostly everyone on the fact that I DO need a larger case. The mid-towers just seem too large. Could I get some advice in buying a slightly smaller case? |
