Default maximus formula question

So i just went into microcenter today and they had a max form onsale that was open box so i picked it up for around 200. so went on newegg to see what they were listing it as and all they have are open box, then looked on the asus site and couldnt even find it on there.
so did it get discontinued or something?? and if so why?

also found that there was a special edition of the max form... do any of you know the difference???

Still up at ClubIT, which is where I have been aiming to get mine.

ClubIT Product - ASUS Maximus Formula LGA775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard Retail

and it looks like the only difference between the regular and SE is the SE has a waterblock for a northbridge cooler.

x48 is just the "cream of the crop" x38 boards, and the x48 support ddr3
