Default Long Extracting and Copying times

what part of the computer affects extracting and copying times, it takes my computer like 20 min for an 80 mb file.
i have
Rapter hard drive
E8400 3.0GHZ

you might want to defrag the hard drive. If you are copying from a flash drive or something then it could be going bad (the flash drive). The problem is definitely with one of the drives though.

its brand new
10000 rpm
just copying a file say from desktop to same desktop
80 mb actually took realistically 5 min but still seemed long
