Default Largest Performance Gain

Can someone help me decide which i will receive the largest perfromance gain from for next gen gameing titles such at UT2007, Crysis, Age of Conan.

Going from my current E6300 @ 1.86Ghz to a Core 2 Duo E6700

Or

going from a Pre Overclocked radeon X1950Pro to a 8800GTS 320mb or equivalent ATI Card

Incase it makes a difference i have 2GB PC5300 RAM.

Please remember that i CAN NOT overclock my CPU as my mothboard wont allow me to.

Maybe a new motherboard to go along with an 8800 GTS, if he can get the money.

It'll be worth being able to overclock the E6300
