Keyboard and Mouse issues after build

I just took my old parts out of one case and put them in another case

since its the exactly same parts just in a diffrent case with a less powerful PS (2 gig ddr, 500 gb hd, 8500 gt 512, dvdcdromrw, opteron180) i thought it would just be fine.... But when i press the power button it starts up normally everything is going dandy.. but i can press f8 as much as i want and it wont take me anywhere.. but it takes me to the welcome scsreen with my 3 accounts on there but my mouse AND keyboard do not work

.... I assume i have everything plugged in right (maybe not..;..) but im at least pretty sure i plugged in the front USB ports right and even if i didnt teh back USB ports are connected to the mobo so shouldnt they just work?

I even tried grabbing a ps2 mouse and keyboard and they still refuse to work....

I hope its a simple problem to fix or if not that i made an error and plugged somethng in wrong

but if its something wrong with the mobo just by putting it into another case i am S-C-R-E-W-E-D...

How do i get these god **** mice and keyboards to work..... gawrrr
