its got some good information on that Processor "Degradation" and so called Accurate Temperatures

Yeah i got my e8400 overclocked to 4ghz at 45C Full load.

I could go lots higher but i got bad ram

Nice use of reliability "bathtub" curves as they are called - nice comments on how the warranty is determined. I took two classes on this subject from an 80 year old turkish dude, reading it almost brought back bad memories of boredom.

I would probably consider the E8400 as more of a sweet spot for overclocking (based off what I've read) than the E8500. Lower price and clocks within a few percent of the more expensive E8500

yeah right now the e8500 is a waste considering you can overclock both way too easily to make the price even considerable.

Man sometimes Anandtech can put out some really stupid articles.
