Default Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13 Ghz running at 22c

I've got my Core 2 Duo clocked to 267 FSB / 2133Mhz and its running at 22c.

Seems kinda strange to me, I have a kickass zalman on it though.

Is it possible that I built my comp with really good airflow or am I just getting incorrect readings? I've honestly never had issues with building computers wrong to the point of overheating but Dual Cores and 8800GTXs is new turf for me.

22c is very very cool!!

C2D are not even considered hot until 55-60 degree C. Add some more Vcore in there say 1.45 or more and see what you can do.

22c is actually fairly high, mine currently runs at 14c with my Zalman. Are you sure you have good airflow?

doeden what are you talking about? 22c is very cool for a C2D...yours is just lower. Anyway I'm jealous of both of you. I have a Zalman, and mine idles at 43c.

So you keep your house temps significantly lower than 57 degrees Fahrenheit?

-_-

Once again all of those temps are fairly cool. I have my E6300 OC'd to 3.22ghz and it runs at around 58-59 degrees C max load which still is very safe. aftermarket fans are not even needed with these unless you overclock really.

Oh. Although I'm pretty sure that his temps are coming off of idle as well.
