 | Re: im new here will these pc parts be compatible with each other? It would be worth getting another 2 gig of ram IMO. Possibly getting two 2 gig sticks instead of 4 one gig sticks. Also you are purchasing a motherboard w/ 1000 mhz FSB, but only purchasing RAM that has 533, I would suggest purchasing higher quality ram. Your RAM will be struggling to keep up w/ your processor and MB. |

| Re: im new here will these pc parts be compatible with each other? If you go the 4GB route, you'll have to get XP Pro 64-bit. I don't believe they ever made a Home edition that was 64-bit.

I would get the build that Peter.Cort suggested You could save more money by getting E2180 Newegg.com - Intel Pentium E2180 Allendale 2.0GHz 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Processors - Desktops But try to get E7200 because it offers great performance for the price
