| (>-_-)> | I have several IDE hard drives that I would like to plug into my computer, but my computer doesn't have anymore free IDE slots left. I do have several SATA connectors left. Which would be the better choice? IDE to SATA converter: Newegg.com - Rosewill RC-203 SATA to IDE Mini Vertical Bridge (for SATA device) Model - Retail IDE PCI card: Newegg.com - Rosewill RC-200 PCI IDE (ATA) Silicon Image RAID (0/1/0+1/JBOD) Host Controller Card - Retail I'm not sure which one would be more reliable and maintain the higher transfer rate. The IDE to SATA converters seem pricey on newegg, but I found some for 5 dollars on ebay. |
