This my tentative machine subtotalling $1766 (which will go down after the 22nd). But I'd like to run it by you guys first to ask for advice/suggestions. A couple months ago, I knew absolutely jack about picking parts or what would even be required. But through observing you guys' suggestions I believe I have at least a slight grasp on the basics.

But again, I'm still looking for last minute suggestions and advice. I'd really like to not spend anymore than I am now though. But I'm extremely open to just-as-good-but-cheaper alternatives to my current parts.

Thanks guys.

Ok, I'll get the Corsair then. The 7200.2 drive is because I really don't know the difference between that and all the other 7200.x drives. What's it's significance?

ya... the current is 7200.10 which uses Perpendicular Technology or something like that which makes it faster than the 7200.09 so imagine the diff between the 7200.02

The main difference from the newest 7200.10 from the others, is it's perpendicular technology, which I heard is faster...and the 7200.10 is one of the faster 7200rpm drives out there.

That Rosewill RP550 should be enough, but I'd suggest the XClio 550w.

Ok, I'll definitely switch it to 7200.10 then. Umm, I've got a question about the PSU. The Rosewill says it's 550w while the Corsair is 520w. I'm a little confused how the Corsair is more powerful.

It's got more amps, on it's +12v rails, and is more stable.
