  |  How much difference... ...does a case make in cpu temps? jesus, I wasn't expecting this much of a drop! Got the CM Stacker 830 in mail yesterday, switched stuff over and my idle temps dropped a good 10 deg celcius. (34ish to 24ish -- using TAT and speedfan temp readings). my old case was an antec 900. i have 7 fans running atm (2 front intake, 3 side intake, 1 top exhaust, 1 back exhaust) cus i stripped the antec of its fans :P. i'm running 300fsbx10 e2180 on stock heatsink at stock vcore |

| Re: How much difference... Those are really good drops for a stock HS. I've got an 830 SE sitting next to me, waiting for me to swap my internals over. This makes me pretty anxious to get started, but I need a new HS and fans first before I go through this trouble.
