Default how great are the advantages are the rapter harddrvie

does this drive make a faster computer over the standerd 7200 speed

Yes and No. For writting files or transfering data it will.
For loading Games, Not so much.

IMO, Id rather have 2 7.2K RPM Drives with 16 MB Cache in RAID 0.

Nop, Speed of the Drive has little to do with Programs that use RAM and CPU. Like I said, youll only see a huge jump in preformence if writting or copying alot of Files.
