Evga 680i a1 revised motherboard
OCZ 2x1GB reaper ram
dual 8600GT in SLi Mode
Thermaltake Toughpower 650w with quad 12v rails
antec900 owng beauty case
Intel Core 2 e6750
Golden Orb
some crappy hp 160Gb HD
some crappy hp optical drive
I hope those are all compatible, opinions on if they aren't are appreciated I hopes i hopes !!
Edit: and the power supply is good enough right ?

Yeah you're better off w/ an 8800 for gaming. If you're using the comp for multimedia and stuff like that, then mid range 8 series are better for that although I still don't recommend it.

I bought the 2 EVGA 8600 GT's because they were only $160 shipped, but when I have a steady income I will definitely upgrade to a 8800 card, hopefully by then they will be cheaper.

Why waste money on a 8600 when you're gonna upgrade to a 8800 when you next can?
You're buying a whole new pc, 2x8600's would be good for multimedia, if that's what you're doing, but a single 8800 is better for gaming, and we all know sli's a basic waste of time unless you have all the money good grows, and want 2 of the best card out for that slight edge.
Get a 8800gts

^ i agree... two 8600gt's is 320$... for 285$ u get once gts which outperforms the dual 8600gt's

yeah agreed with the 8800gts comment.
also u could prob get arctic freezer 7 cooler instead of golden orb
